great pub atmosphere with very friendly staff. could improve on glass sizes.

missingWrote a review on Nov 13vibrant atmosphereclean roompoor communicationbreakfast absenceceiling leak
The vibrant atmosphere provided a great backdrop for relaxation, complemented by a clean and spacious room. Bed linen and towels exceeded expectations for quality. Unfortunately, the absence of breakfast service due to the chef's holiday and the issue with ceiling leaks were significant downsides. Communication about these issues could have been improved, especially with special occasions such as weddings.

had a great stay! paudie the owner was really nice and waited for me when my flight was delayed. the room was clean and comfy, and i loved the free wifi. also, it was cool to have a pub downstairs where i could chill. location was perfect with parking right outside!
a bit noisy in the mornings due to traffic, and the stairs were a bit steep.

The privacy glass in the bathroom is inadequate, leading to potential awkwardness!!! The TV's wiring looked amateurish, and the noise from the pub made it hard to relax!!! Improvements in these areas would enhance the experience!!!

The breakfast was out of this world and
The friendly atmosphere in the pub below made our stay truly enjoyable. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, but getting extra heating could be a bit slow. we loved our time here and will definitely return.

We had an awesome stay! The room was super comfy and clean, but the traffic noise in the mornings was a right nuisance. Heaps of character down stairs, too!

I had a fantastic stay! The family room was incredible, super spacious, and clean. Those complimentary biscuits were a lovely touch. A small downside was the window not closing properly, but I would absolutely choose this place again.

It was just a smart choice for a cursory stop in Kelso with extraordinarily good value for money. The rooms were clean and basic, meeting all my needs. Bring earplugs if you're sensitive to noise at night.
